In Switzerland, our couples stepped into the setting itself, moving through grand hotels, alpine landscapes, lakefront elegance, exceptional dining, and the quiet moments that allow a destination to become something more personal.
Our first Luxury Wedding Escapes: Switzerland Edition film captures that experience in motion.
The journey was beautifully documented by Emma Wilson of Story Of Your Day, a Switzerland-based luxury destination wedding filmmaker known for capturing celebrations with an elegant, emotional, and story-led approach. Having Emma behind the lens allowed the experience to be seen through someone who understands not only the beauty of Switzerland, but the feeling of celebrating within it.
The film follows our inaugural journey through Lucerne, Villars-sur-Ollon, and Montreux, three distinct Swiss destinations, each offering its own perspective on a destination wedding abroad.
In Lucerne, the experience began with historic charm, lake views, refined hospitality, and the ease of arriving somewhere that immediately feels special. At Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern, couples were introduced to the elegance of a Swiss wedding weekend set against one of the country’s most iconic lakeside cities.
From there, the journey continued into the mountains of Villars-sur-Ollon. At Villars Palace, alpine luxury brought a completely different energy to the planning experience. Snow-covered surroundings, beautiful interiors, wellness moments, and elevated gatherings created space for couples to consider how a wedding destination can feel intimate, transporting, and deeply memorable.
The final chapter unfolded in Montreux, where the shoreline of Lake Geneva, the glamour of the Riviera, and the grandeur of Fairmont Le Montreux Palace offered a romantic closing setting. It was an opportunity to imagine a celebration shaped by elegant architecture, lakefront views, exceptional service, and the effortless rhythm of Switzerland.
Throughout the journey, couples experienced much more than hotel stays and venue tours. They traveled through Switzerland by rail, enjoyed curated dining, explored the culture of each destination, and spent meaningful time considering what their own wedding abroad could look and feel like.
That is the purpose of Luxury Wedding Escapes.
Planning a destination wedding is a significant decision. A venue can be beautiful online, but photographs cannot show you how it feels to wake up there, how smoothly your guests might travel between destinations, how dinner tastes after a day in the mountains, or how a hotel team welcomes you into their world.

From lakeside mornings and scenic rail travel to alpine hospitality and candlelit evenings, each moment gave our couples the opportunity to experience the destination before deciding whether it could become part of their wedding story.
